Former D1 Collegiate Athlete | M.Ed. Sport Psychology | Mental Performance Coach

I’m Celeste Fair, a Mental Performance Consultant who helps dancers and other athletes build the mindset to rise under pressure. As a former collegiate dancer and captain, I know what it’s like to compete in a world that’s both athletic and artistic- where perfection is expected but mental support is rare. My coaching bridges that gap. I help performers strengthen focus, confidence, and self-trust so they can show up fully, not just as athletes, but as artists and humans.

About Me:

I’m Celeste Fair, a Mental Performance Consultant from Boise, Idaho, who helps dancers and performers train their minds like athletes. As a former collegiate dancer and team captain, I know firsthand the physical and mental demands of performing at an elite level- and how crucial mindset is to thriving under pressure.

I’ve completed four half marathons, which has given me a personal perspective on goal-setting, perseverance, and pushing through mental and physical limits- lessons I bring directly to the performers I coach. I hold a Master of Education in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Springfield College, where I focused on applied mental performance strategies for athletes and dancers.

Through my coaching, I bridge the worlds of sport psychology and performing arts, teaching skills like confidence, focus, resilience, and self-trust that translate to every stage, studio, or competition. I believe dance is athletic, and peak performance starts with a strong, prepared mindset. My mission is to help every performer move, compete, and perform with power, purpose, and confidence.

How I can help you improve your game:

Fear of failure can keep even the most talented performers from reaching their full potential. I help dancers and athletes overcome that fear while also strengthening focus, confidence, resilience, and mindset strategies that elevate every aspect of performance. Together, we’ll turn pressure into power and unlock the mental edge that allows you to perform at your best- on stage, on the field, or anywhere your skills matter most.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Every session with me blends practical mental performance strategies with self-discovery. We start by identifying your current challenges, goals, and mindset patterns, then move into exercises designed to strengthen focus, confidence, resilience, and composure under pressure.

A key part of my approach is guiding you to find your own connections and insights through interactive workshops, reflection activities, and applied exercises. Rather than just giving answers, I help you explore how mental skills relate to your unique experiences—on stage, in the studio, or in competition—so the strategies truly stick.

By the end of a session, you’ll leave with actionable tools, a deeper understanding of your mindset, and a plan to apply what you’ve learned to your next performance. My goal is for every session to empower you to perform at your best while building long-term mental strength.

Career summary and accomplishments:

Throughout my athletic and dance career, I’ve consistently been recognized for my leadership, resilience, and commitment to excellence. I’ve held a captain position on every team I’ve been part of, earning the trust of teammates and coaches through my ability to lead with both empathy and drive. At Washington State University, I was promoted to a leadership role in just my second year on the team, where I helped guide our program to consistent top finishes on the national stage. During my collegiate career, our team placed in the top five at UDA Nationals in Division I-A Jazz and Game Day. I’ve been honored with the Most Inspirational Award three times in my dance career, and the Unsung Hero Award, both recognizing my ability to elevate those around me and lead by example- qualities that now shape my work as a mental performance consultant helping others achieve their peak potential.

Best coach I ever had:

I learned from an assistant coach in high school who always led by example, showing that dedication and consistency matter - no matter the talent.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I’m committed to helping athletes and performers develop both the mental and emotional skills they need to thrive under pressure. I approach coaching with empathy, understanding firsthand the challenges of performing at a high level, and I prioritize helping each athlete find their own strengths and connections to the work.

I believe that success isn’t just about skill- it’s about mindset, confidence, resilience, and self-trust. My goal is to equip performers with tools they can carry into every practice, performance, and life situation. I value open communication, collaboration, and creating a safe, supportive space where athletes feel empowered to grow, take risks, and perform at their best.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you find yourself needing to cancel or adjust your booking within 24 hours of your purchase, just let us know. We'll provide a refund - no questions asked. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we're here to support your learning journey.

Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.

AU was created by former collegiate and professional athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process and we proudly showcase a 10% acceptance rate, so you can trust you're training with the best.

At the end of the day, our mission is to provide athletes with better opportunities to succeed through coaching. You won't find a platform, and group of dedicated specialists, more excited to help you achieve your athletic goals!
