I have won championships for the Snoop Youth Tackle Football League (highest level of youth tackle football in the nation) as well as with Rugby LA (a non profit organization where the focus is more encouragement, engagement, and inclusiveness.

Ever since I could walk or run it was mandatory that I play a sport each season (house/family rules). Football, Rugby, and Track became the sports that stuck. I've played football for most of my life as many different positions but after rehabilitation's from injuries my junior and senior year I took a small break from football and transitioned to semi-pro rugby as an adult. After one too many concussions I decided to run track as a sprinter at Cerritos college where I eventually tore my meniscus. After suffering from a multitude of psychological and physiological injuries I took a full year or two of complete rehabilitation. (I've suffered a lot more than a concussion and meniscus tear). During that time period I learned so much about myself and my body and even the world around me. After returning to a standard to good physical health I decided to pick up coaching. I have coached at a high level (Snoop Youth Tackle Football League), the highest level of youth tackle football in the nation and for a non-profit (Rugby LA) where encouraging participation and inclusiveness (girls, all ages, different backgrounds/neighborhoods and cities in Los Angeles) is more the focus. For both organizations I have produced top performing athletes and have helped lead teams to multiple championships.
If you are looking to get faster and more explosive I am your guy. I was coached by Christopher Richardson (Team USA Track & Field Coach) while at Cerritos as well as Morris Jones Jr. my sprinting coach who has produced over 45 all Americans. (Their bio is on the Cerritos College website if you'd like to check them out as well). I coach proper sprinting mechanics, how to open up your stride, and how to increase jumping height and explosiveness. I coach all tackle football positions as well as proper tackling form in different situations (open field, closing gap tackles, how to not get juked out when tackling, and how to lay the boom every now and again ;). I am well equipped with NFL/Collegiate level knowledge when it comes to defensive backs especially, wide receivers, ruining backs, quarterbacks and more. I also have a nat for helping athletes emotionally and mentally as well. I understand hundreds of play concepts for offense and defense so if you are a quarterback or defensive player who would like to know and understand coverage's better, reading/beating certain coverage's, reading and beating certain offensive schemes or understand your current playbook more in depth I am your guy. On top of all that I am a certified nutrition Coach and Personal Trainer so if you need help with strength training and optimizing your routine with professional knowledge about diet/nutrition I would be of great service to you my friend. Last but not least I have been in a constant state of physical rehabilitation starting at 16 years old so best believe I am well equipped with injury prevention and recovery knowledge.
No matter the sport or specific skill I am training I follow a golden template that has been shown to optimize mental focus, emotional well being, efficiency, and injury prevention. After evaluation of each athlete (mental & physical) I train in intervals. We do walkthroughs first, then jog, then drills at full pace. In between each I give time for short hydration breaks, short static stretching breaks, and rest while I give feedback and check in with how the athlete is feeling physically, mentally, and emotionally. This ensures the athlete is understanding each thing being asked or expected of him or her by not having long drawn out lectures and keeping explanations short and concise. This method builds confidence as well because it promotes short successions. How can an athlete feel low confidence if they are always succeeding. Short hydration breaks along with stretching our targeted areas that day keep muscles from tightening up. Progressive movements (walkthroughs, jogging, and eventually full speed activity) ensures the muscles and other physiological aspects of the body are never put into a shock or surprised state which can cause injury or unnecessary wear overtime. Intervals keep activity and rest short which keep the muscles warm and in their ideal state to perform safely and effectively. Last but not least this method also prevents the body from being overworked. After each session I will give my summary/recap to each athlete and suggest a tailored recovery plan until the next time I see them.
As I've said before I've played many sports but frequent injuries have prevented me from continuing to pursue an athletic career. My most recent accomplishments have came from my coaching career instead. With the Inglewood Chargers Youth Tackle Football team I helped lead them to the championship against the LA Chiefs at So Fi Stadium in Inglewood California back in 2021. As a rugby coach I have helped New Design Adams Middle School win multiple 1st place trophies in our annual rugby tournaments. I have helped Compton YAL (a sherrifs youth activity league program) to rain victorious over all Sheriff Youth Activity leagues in Los Angeles County. Most importantly each annual Rugby Tournament multiple of my students from multiple schools are awarded with our unique character, integrity, sportsmanship and team spirit award each year. I have been awarded by this organization with the "Iron Man" award for upholding the companies ideals of promoting a high level of competition, popularizing the sport of Rugby in Los Angeles County, and prioritizing inclusiveness (encouraging female athletes, working with student athletes with down syndrome, autism, or A.D.H.D etc. different socio economic backgrounds/culture and nationalities) I would like to note that each athlete to win the sportsmanship award who was part of the teams I coached each season were girls, most if not all of my team captains are girls. I have always seen boys and girls as equals on the field, and love challenging all stereotypes known to man including gender stereotypes.
The best coach I've ever had was coach Bia my senior year of high school. He was my math teacher as well and truly made my day every class I had with him that year. At the time I was going through a lot off the field and he was always there to offer me guidance and wisdom. He always validated my emotions and taught me how to be fair with myself. He never let me beat myself up nor did he ever allow any level of adversity to stop me from reaching my true potential on and off the field. I wouldn't be the person, nor the athlete, nor the coach I am today without Bia.
I have years of experience coaching a wide range of student athletes. I have coached all age groups K-12. I have coached kids that come from impoverished backgrounds, food and housing insecurity, domestic violence around them or direct victims, gang filled, crime filled, violent neighborhoods. I have also coached top tier athletes. I have coached inexperienced athletes. I have coached girls who started out very insecure and did not believe they could do what all the other boys could do and helped them discover a new found confidence. I have coached very confident, athletically gifted girls and have helped them stay in sports despite social/gendered pressures. I have coached children with emotional issues, learning disabilities, mental challenges (A.D.H.D, down syndrome, autism, etc.). I have also coached very confident kids and even bullies/misbehaved out of control children who need more discipline and structure in their lives. Most importantly I have brought the best out of all of them and I will never allow an individual I coach to settle for less than what they can be. I love all athletes and people unconditionally and would be very excited to help your kid reach their peak athletic and personal potential.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section.
