Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
Coach Chuck Kreise was the best coach I ever had. Being a former college coaching legend, taking the Clemson Tigers to numerous Conference and NCAA titles, Coach Kreise showed me the game through a unique and tailored lens. Crafted in his experience and the high level of tennis he immersed himself in, his formulas for winning and performance is engrained in my head. Other coaches have been amazing at the JTCC, like Vesa Ponkka, Frank Costello, and Alisama Agnamba, but Coach Kriese was definitely the coach who has impacted and shaped my game the most.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
Im a great teacher and I understand what its like to be the student. I will level with you so that we can build your game together. Parents! I am great with kids and sometimes still feel like one myself haha. Im super sociable, and fun, and it will never feel too serious with me. The end goal is to feel good and improve your game in the process, and if that is something you agree with, I'm you coach.

How can you help someone improve their game?
Having recently been the hitting partner for Coco Gauff, Hailey Baptiste, Robin Montogmery, and other WTA players, I have the skill to keep up with pretty much any player in practice. I have also coached for cummunity service with youth in DC who had never heard of or took previous interest in the sport. So having worked with a range of skill levels previously, I am confident I have the advice and critiques you may want to develop your game.
What does a typical training session look like?
Depending on the length of the session, I split it up into three parts. Warm up, Drilling, and Action.
We will start with a warmup of your choosing, either a dynamic warmup or a live ball warmup. some people like me to instruct their dynamics and some like to do it before they get on the court.
We will then start some level appropriate drills to get a feel for how we need to end the session. I will focus on the basics and once we are past the basics I will start getting into intricate parts of the game and technique.
Lastly we will finish with Action, the portion of the session where we either work on the serve, or play baseline points to get some competition in.
After the session I trust that the student do a cool down and treats themselves properly to be set for the next session.
