Why Train With Me?

Because I live Breathe & Love Baseball and will do everything I can to help youI have coached and trained Baseball for Children ages 5-16 for over 20 years. I have my own private camp in downtown Manhattan. I am very strict with basics first. Baseball is a hard game and if you don't train right it will be even harder. I have thousands of references if you need. I have my own children and a son who plays in high-school ball. I love working with younger children because that's the age they are sponges. Looking forward to working with you!

Athletic Background

Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I played High School ball and was the starting shortstop. I had the best defense on the team and batted 300. I won 3 games in a row with walk off hits.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
My best coach was Michael. He played minors for the Tigers. He was a contact hitter and I preach contact.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I love working with children. I been doing it for 20 years and I know how to bring out the best in them. I run my own camp for years and I still do it. My camp focuses on the basics first. Alot of children see games and don't realize that these players practice basics first until they perfect it. I make sure I have them do the right drills.

Coaching Background

Summary of Coaching Background
LES acadmey, Big Fly Baseball, Greenwich Village, OLS, Henry Street Settlement.
How can you help someone improve their game?
Practice Practice Practice. I will give them all the proper drills to work on after they work with me. It's not just working with me for 45 minutes. You have to continue to the the work. I also will check in all the time to make sure lol. I take it seriously haha.
What does a typical training session look like?
It depends on what the child needs. But if they never played before the first thing is basics. Footwork, glove drills, cone drills, side to side drills, throwing drills. It all depends on where the child is at. Everyone learns at their own pace.
