Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
Unlike most athletes, my career has been supported by many great coaches who have all had great success in the Track and Field. I started my collegiate career with the current Mt Sac Jumps Coach and Premier Elite Jumps Club owner at Fullerton College. Following that I had a short period working with Keinan Briggs the Mater Dei jumps coach and owner of Leap Squad Jumps Club. Upon my return to the collegiate level, I started working with two coaches who took my Skills to the next level. They were Sprints Coach Valerie Brisco-Hooks and Jumps Coach Tim Bowman over at West Los Angeles College. Each of them had different training styles and forms of coaching that have molded me into the coach I am today.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
As a dedicated coach, my mission is to empower young people through athletics by equipping them with essential life skills and fostering leadership qualities. I believe that sports provide a unique platform for personal growth, resilience, and teamwork. My goal is to inspire each athlete to reach their full potential, both on and off the field, by instilling values such as discipline, integrity, and collaboration. Together, we will cultivate not only skilled athletes but also confident leaders ready to navigate the challenges of life.

How can you help someone improve their game?
I have been a part of this sport for 12 years, and I've worked with very knowledgeable coaches and all ranges of athletes. I can help athletes improve their game by instilling three key characteristics: discipline, consistancy, and sacrifice.
What does a typical training session look like?
Training sessions will depend on where we are in the season and how frequently we train together. Offseason training sessions will revolve around general strength and conditioning work with event training 2 days a week. Inseason traing training will flip to where event specific training is 3 days a week and strength and speed work twice a week. If we are training minimally during season we will be focusing on event training. Duriing the offseason 2 of the 3 sessions will focus on Strength and conditioning and 1 day dedicated to event training.
