Hi, I’m Analise De La Roca—former D1 softball pitcher at New Mexico State and Howard University. I’m passionate about teaching the game from the inside out—focusing not just on clean mechanics, but also on building mental toughness, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the game. My mission is to help players become not just better athletes, but more grounded, prepared, and resilient competitors.

I’m Analise De La Roca, a former Division I pitcher who brought my passion for softball from Howard University—where I earned All‑MEAC honors, racked up 14 wins (including a no-hitter and key shutouts in the MEAC tournament), and helped lead the team to its first NCAA tournament appearance in 15 years—to New Mexico State, where I posted strong seasons and helped my team compete in postseason play.
I was a force even before college, setting a CIF‑Los Angeles record with 408 strikeouts in a single season at Port of LA High and throwing multiple no-hitters and perfect games in high school. That early success set the stage for my journey through elite softball and led me to coaching—where I bring more than just technical skills to the field.
Today, I coach with heart, focusing not just on mechanics but on players' mental and emotional growth. I believe elite athletes combine sharp technique with strength of mind—and that helping players develop confidence, resilience, and strategic thinking is key to long-term success both on and off the field.
In May 2024, I completed my master’s degree in Communications Management from USC, where I deepened my focus on leadership, storytelling, and strategy—skills I bring into every coaching and mentoring interaction.
I help athletes elevate their game through a mix of technical training and mental performance coaching. From sharpening mechanics on the mound or at the plate to building confidence and game IQ, I focus on developing well-rounded, resilient players ready to compete at the next level.
A typical training session with me starts with observation and evaluation — especially during the first lesson. I like to pinpoint one area to focus on at a time so we can make intentional, lasting progress. Whether we're working on hitting or pitching, I bring in drills and techniques I’ve learned throughout my career to help athletes dial in their mechanics and move with confidence and fluidity. Each session is structured but adaptable, tailored to what the athlete needs most that day — physically and mentally.
Former Division I softball player Pitcher at New Mexico State University & Howard University Named Most Valuable Player of the 2022 MEAC Tournament (Howard University) Multiple-time Conference Pitcher of the Week honoree Standout high school career at Port of Los Angeles High School 4-time All-City selection 3-time City Section Pitcher of the Year Led team to two CIF-LA City Championships Known for competitive edge, command, and consistency Master’s degree completed May 2024 Specializes in pitching & hitting instruction Focus on mechanics, mental approach, and fluid athletic movement
The best coach I’ve ever had is Tori Tyson. She first worked with me as my pitching coach in high school and helped elevate my game in ways I never imagined. She pushed me to become a fierce competitor and constantly challenged me to improve every single day.
Later in my career, she became my head coach at Howard University, where she led us to win the program’s first MEAC title in 15 years.
Athletes and parents should know that I care deeply about both the physical and mental growth of every player I train. I bring experience from competing at the D1 level and focus on building confidence just as much as refining mechanics. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and I believe in developing a strong foundation while making sure each athlete feels seen, supported, and challenged. Accountability is huge in the development process — the work you put in is the progress you’ll see.
