Hi, I’m Coach Monet! I work in mental performance coaching and youth development, and enjoy helping athletes and students build focus, confidence, and resilience. I have a master’s background in Mental Performance Psychology, and I’m currently pursuing my CMPC certification. After suffering a knee injury, I had to use my mental skills and coping mechanisms to assist with my recovery process to return-to-play. I’ve supported athletes through one-on-one coaching, group sessions, and virtual programming. I’m especially passionate about helping athletes strengthen their mindset so they can perform consistently and carry those skills beyond sport.

I’m a dedicated coach with a strong background in athlete development, mentorship, and virtual training. My coaching approach focuses on building confidence, discipline, and game IQ while helping athletes develop the skills they need to compete at their best. I believe every athlete learns differently, and my goal is to meet each player where they are while pushing them to grow.
I have experience working with athletes in both in-person and virtual settings, including ongoing virtual coaching with other employers. This has strengthened my ability to clearly communicate, break down complex skills, and keep athletes engaged and accountable, no matter the environment.
I’m a mindset-driven, developmental coach focused on helping athletes build confidence, discipline, and resilience, especially during injury recovery and return-to-play.
I help athletes improve by focusing on both mental development and physical readiness, understanding that confidence, consistency, and decision-making are just as important as skill execution.
My approach starts with learning the athlete, where they are physically, how they think about the game, and what may be holding them back. From there, I focus on building strong fundamentals while reinforcing habits that lead to long-term improvement.
For athletes returning from injury or working through confidence challenges, I place a strong emphasis on patience, trust, and gradual progression. I am here to help rebuild confidence in the body, teach how to stay mentally engaged during recovery, and avoid rushing the process. This allows them to return to play feeling prepared rather than hesitant.
Each training session is structured but flexible, allowing me to adjust based on the athlete’s needs, energy level, and stage of development. Sessions begin with a brief check-in to understand how the athlete is feeling physically and mentally that day. This helps set the tone and ensures training is both productive and safe.
We then move into a focused warm-up designed to improve mobility, body awareness, and readiness for movement. For athletes returning from injury, this phase emphasizes control, confidence, and proper movement patterns rather than speed or intensity.
The main portion of the session centers on skill development and game-related scenarios. I break skills down into manageable pieces, explain the purpose behind each drill, and connect them to real-game situations. Athletes are encouraged to think, make decisions, and build confidence through repetition and feedback rather than rushing through movements.
Throughout the session, I reinforce mindset habits such as focus, patience, and resilience. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities, and athletes receive clear, constructive feedback so they understand how to improve and why it matters.
Each session ends with a brief reflection or reset, reviewing what was learned, what felt challenging, and how the athlete can continue improving outside of training. My goal is for athletes to leave each session feeling more confident, prepared, and motivated than when they arrived.
I am a developmental, mindset-driven coach with experience working with athletes in both virtual and individualized training environments. My coaching focuses on confidence building, mental resilience, and long-term athlete development, with a particular interest in supporting athletes through injury recovery and return-to-play transitions. Through my work with other contractors, I have coached athletes virtually, helping them stay consistent, motivated, and mentally engaged while developing foundational skills and discipline. This experience has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, adapt training to individual needs, and maintain accountability in both structured and flexible settings. My accomplishments include: Master’s degree, providing a strong foundation in communication, development, and structured learning; Experience providing virtual coaching and athlete development support; Strong focus on mindset development, confidence building, and mental resilience; Ability to adapt training for athletes returning from injury or rebuilding confidence; Clear, supportive communication and accountability in one-on-one coaching settings
Coach Lauren - She always believed in her team which not only challenged us to do our best, but be the best. We won many competitions, because even when we wanted to give up, she pushed us to do our best. Above performance, she placed an emphasis on our mindset at all times.
I take a patient, supportive, and development-focused approach to coaching. I understand that every athlete’s journey looks different, and progress does not always happen on a straight path, especially when injuries, confidence challenges, or setbacks are involved. Safety and well-being are always a priority in my sessions. I do not rush development or return-to-play timelines. Instead, I focus on gradual progress, proper movement, and mental readiness so athletes can improve without unnecessary pressure.
I value clear communication with both athletes and parents and aim to create an environment where questions are welcomed and expectations are understood. I am very calm spirited and will hold not only myself accountable, but also the athlete. When working with me, you must be willing to give the same effort as I want for your success.
