Why Train With Me?

With a lifelong passion and pro mentorship, I help players thrive at every levelennis and pickleball have been integral parts of my life since I was six years old, starting as a blue-chip tennis competitor and later coaching at Palma Ceia Country Club. Mentored by my stepdad, who trained at IMG Academy and coached top-50 tennis players, I’ve gained lifelong insight into the technical, strategic, and mental demands of racket sports. Whether on the tennis or pickleball court, I combine expertise with a tailored approach to help players of all levels improve their skills, build confidence, and foster a love for the game.

Athletic Background

Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I started playing tennis at six years old, competing as a blue-chip junior until age 15, and later transitioned to coaching to stay connected to the game. I’ve coached for seven years, working with beginners to advanced players in both tennis and pickleball. My experience includes coaching at summer sports camps, country clubs, under my stepdad’s guidance, private coaching, and serving as a hitting partner for pro-level tennis players. My stepdad, a professional coach who trained at IMG Academy and coached top-50 ranked players, has shaped my approach to coaching with a focus on technique, footwork, and long-term development. Whether it’s tennis or pickleball, my goal is to help players improve, gain confidence, and enjoy the process.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
The best coach I ever had was my stepdad and the best pickleball coach I had was a week with Ben Johns. He focused on mastering technique and footwork rather than just doing whatever it took to win in the moment. His emphasis on building a strong foundation helped me excel beyond other juniors my age and develop a deeper understanding of both tennis and pickleball. His mentorship has shaped not only my skills but also my coaching philosophy, where I prioritize long-term growth and fundamentals to help my athletes succeed.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I grew up as the only girl among six brothers in a family full of athletes, where sports were a way of life. Coming from a lineage of collegiate players, I understand the dedication it takes to succeed in both tennis and pickleball. As the third in line, I helped raise my younger brothers and learned invaluable lessons from my older ones about teamwork, resilience, and leadership. These experiences instilled in me a passion for giving others confidence and creating a supportive environment where they can thrive. Whether on the tennis or pickleball court, I combine my personal experience, technical expertise, and understanding of individual needs to help each player reach their potential while fostering a love for the game.

Coaching Background

Summary of Coaching Background
I have been coaching tennis and pickleball for about seven years, working with players of all levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. My experience includes coaching at summer sports camps, country clubs, under the mentorship of my stepdad, and private coaching. I’ve also served as a hitting partner for pro-level tennis players, further broadening my perspective on racket sports. My coaching philosophy emphasizes building confidence, improving skills, and fostering a genuine love for tennis and pickleball. Whether working on fundamentals or advanced strategies, I tailor each session to the individual’s goals, ensuring a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
How can you help someone improve their game?
I focus on building a strong foundation in technique, footwork, and strategy, which are essential for long-term success in both tennis and pickleball. By breaking down strokes and movement patterns, I help players improve consistency, precision, and efficiency. I also emphasize mental toughness and match awareness, teaching players how to adapt their game to different opponents and situations. Every player is unique, so I tailor my coaching to their individual goals, skill level, and learning style. Whether you’re looking to improve your serve, develop better court positioning, or sharpen your game strategy, I provide clear, actionable feedback and drills to enhance your skills. Most importantly, I create a positive and supportive environment where players feel confident to push themselves and grow.
What does a typical training session look like?
Every client is unique, so I tailor training sessions to their specific needs and goals in both tennis and pickleball. Some players want a consistent and strong hitting partner, others want to focus on specific areas of their game, and some groups aim for their kids to have fun while learning the basics. A typical session starts with a warm-up and footwork drills designed to enhance movement and coordination. We’ll progress to short-court drills like mini tennis or dink drills in pickleball to develop control, followed by baseline or full-court hitting to build rhythm and consistency. From there, we’ll focus on drills targeting the areas of your game that need the most improvement. Finally, we’ll incorporate match play to put the day’s lessons into practice and build competitive confidence.
