My goal is to empower athletes to reach their peak level of performance. As a former collegiate baseball player, I understand both the physical & mental challenges athletes face on a daily basis. Over the past year I have been working as a mental performance coach with youth, high school and collegiate athletes throughout Southern California. In both an individual and in a team setting I provide athletes with the tools to improve their mental skills and overall performance. In my career I learned the importance of preparing both your mind and body in order to maximize your potential, which is why I approach each individual holistically to help you accomplish your goals. I also leverage my training and playing experience in foundational skills training for infielders and hitters.

How I can help you improve your game:

Employing a holistic approach, I share a variety of evidence-based techniques to help empower athletes in their athletic journey and improve their mental performance. Physical and mental performance can be elevated by working on the mind-body connection. Through utilizing various mental strategies, athletes learn to navigate their levels of confidence, stress, anxiety, and motivation.

I personally have experienced the highs and lows of playing baseball at a competitive level. Athletics taught me how to handle adversity, work in a dynamic team, and the importance of accountability. However, as is the case with many athletes, I struggled with feelings of anxiety, low confidence, and negative self-talk. I am dedicated to using my athletic experience to provide athletes with the necessary mental tools to succeed both on the field and in life.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

The initial session with my clients we establish the boundaries in confidentiality and then work to develop the optimal performance profile for the athlete. I work to help you identify the areas in your game you need to improve on in order to accomplish the goals you have for yourself. In the following sessions I work to customize a performance plan that is tailored to the personality, mental, and physical skill level of the athlete. The goal is to empower you with the tools to perform at your best and handle whatever life or sport throws your way. My sessions are offered to athletes of all backgrounds, but I specialize in baseball, softball, football, and golf.

Best coach I ever had:

My hitting coach during my high school years, Keven Kempton. He was the coach that helped me develop into the player and teammate I needed to be in order to play collegiate baseball. In his instruction I learned more about the mental game than any coach I had every worked with and he helped me see the game through a different lens. He influenced me in my decision begin working as a mental performance coach myself so that I can help athletes the way that he helped me.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

Athletes and parents should know that my "Why" for this field is rooted in my desire to help athletes who may be struggling in the areas that I struggled. I am extremely passionate about athletics and specifically baseball, a sport that I devoted over 16+ years of my life to. This passion for sport is what led me to working in the field of Sport and Performance Psychology. My experiences during my athletic career taught me a lot about life, and my goal is to help athletes develop the mental skills to improve their performance both on and off the field.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
