Gene and Elaine Williams founded Athletes Untapped to link aspiring athletes with vetted private coaches for one-on-one training. As former college athletes and private coaches, they loved mentoring kids but noticed a lack of tools for coaches to grow their reach. Inspired by platforms like Airbnb and Rover, they built AU to empower coaches and transform young athletes’ lives. Backed by their experience in tech and sports, Gene and Elaine aim to expand access to impactful coaching that helps young athletes excel both on and off the field.
Private field hockey lessons at Athletes Untapped focus on building essential skills like stick handling, fitness, and footwork. Using game-like drills, our coaches help athletes improve speed and conditioning while addressing specific areas of their game for overall growth.
