Often, young players want to emulate their game after their favorite NBA player. However, doing so won't prepare them for the reality of the next level. Choosing to train with me is the best idea because I train players based on their current skillset and focus on the tools we can add to make the player better immediately! Once my player understands how to play the game the right way, I'll start to add moves to their bag that will make them ELITE compared to the other guys/girls at their level!

I began playing basketball at the age of four, and it has been a major part of my life ever since. I've been blessed enough to have success at every level I've played at. In high school, I won a CIF championship and received ALL-AREA, First-Team All-CIF, and First-Team All-League honors in both my junior and senior years. These successes earned me multiple scholarships to play basketball at the college level and I chose to attend Vanguard University of Southern California. I then transferred to Citrus College, where we won the conference championship. Most recently, I just finished my season at Glendale College, where I received All-Conference Honors as one of the best guards in SoCal Juco. I currently hold 3 scholarship offers to continue playing basketball and I hope to receive more as I am still communicating with next-level coaches.
I can help a player improve their game in many ways. Depending on the position they play (or desire to play), there will be certain drills dedicated to improving those skills. I can also help with the mental side of the game. There are a ton of mental exercises I can incorporate into each training session.

I have coached one high school junior whose game has developed so much that he began the season riding the bench now, he plays a crucial role on his team and is currently competing for a chance to win a CIF title. I have also coached many young hoopers between the ages of 7-13. When I train players aged 7-13, I focus more on the skill detail and repetition as that is the most important thing before entering high school
The best coach I've ever had was my high school trainer. I feel this way because he made everyday a challenge which came to benefit me in the end because I was able to get better much faster that way. I value coaches who instill confidence in me while also pushing me past my limits.
Athletes and parents should know that training with me won't be easy, but it will be fun (if you enjoy basketball, lol). I like to push players to be the best version of themselves, both mentally and physically because the game of basketball is just as much mental as it is physical. I truly care about the development of each player, regardless of their current skill level. I am a guard at the next level, so I am extra passionate about coaching guards, especially those who desire to be great shooters (that's what I do)!

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
