Fundamental Skill Development: Whether it’s footwork, hand placement, or reading plays, I’ll focus on the key skills that are crucial for success in football. We’ll break down every movement to make sure it’s executed perfectly and efficiently.

Position-Specific Coaching: I understand the nuances of different positions, so I tailor training to focus on the specific demands of the player’s role—be it quarterback, lineman, or defensive back.

Football IQ: Through film study, situational drills, and mental exercises, I help players increase their understanding of the game, read defenses, and make smarter decisions under pressure.

Physical Conditioning: I’ll provide strength, speed, agility, and endurance training that’s designed to improve performance on the field and reduce the risk of injury.

Mental Toughness & Confidence: I help athletes develop the mental resilience to stay focused and composed, even in high-stakes situations. Confidence is key to success, and I’ll work with athletes to foster a positive mindset and a strong work ethic.

Ultimately, my goal is to push athletes to be the best versions of themselves, on and off the field.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

1 Hour Training Session

45 Minutes of Skills and Drills - Beginner to Elite (Fundamental Drills & Position Specific Drills)

15 Minutes of Mental Performance specific to the athlete.

Best coach I ever had:

Best coach I have ever been able to work for is Mike Riley. He was the Head Coach for Oregon State from 97-99, 2003-2014 and at Nebraska from 2015-2018. What made him a great coach was he passion for the game, his unwavering support for players and coaches, and his desire to pursue greatness every day. He showed me the value of true work ethic and what it takes to be successful.

As a coach with 17 years of experience at the college and professional levels, athletes and parents should know that I am deeply committed to the growth and success of each individual. My coaching philosophy centers around not only developing football skills but also fostering discipline, leadership, and a strong work ethic that will serve athletes both on and off the field.

I understand the importance of a personalized approach, so every training session is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of the athlete. Whether the goal is to earn a scholarship, improve performance for a current team, or prepare for the professional level, I’m here to provide the guidance, expertise, and motivation needed to succeed.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
