I picked up a ball at an early age of three, and have played a total of 25 years of organized baseball starting at Tee ball, pony all-stars, travel ball, and adult rec leagues and tournament style baseball. During my career I took a break from the game during my early 20's and re gained my love for the game at 24. I have not stopped playing since and have gained some great friends and sense of community within the sport of baseball. I enjoy the fact I am able to kick back some knowledge and share my experiences with future ball players no matter the level of play

These 3 core attributes are key for a coach and student athlete to succeed. I look to not only to lay the foundation of a growing athlete to a sustainable life style of training that will last well after our lessons are completed. The importance is the “each one teach one” philosophy. Given that the athlete takes his or her own step in their journey to elevate their game and this will not only be beneficial to themselves but I believe as the athlete improves and pushes the limits in turn I also improve as a trainer/coach.
My personal training includes 1 HOUR sessions! Either DEFENSE OR OFFENSE based -
We will start with : A 5 minute stretch and 5 minute plyometric ramp we then hit the ground running with a steady dose of progressions and high intensity defensive drills (40 mins). Granted many of the basic fundamentals of the game defensively are similarly achieved no matter the position and we will always circle back with plyometric drills and core strengthening that encompasses all that was worked on during the session.
Hitting sessions will be more methodical and also be drill oriented and the bulk of the session (40 mins) will consist off the tee primarily along with front toss, side toss, etc. Depending on the field location (LIVE BP & PITCHING MACHINE) is an option.
Patience and understanding are key to gain an athletes confidence and discipline from all levels of the sport. I will cover the basis on having a strong front arm swing, that I have found to work best in achieving a consistent fundamentally sound offensive hitter
The focus on ONE side of the game can be requested @ (2 Sessions week) per the athletes request if you are looking to improve on certain aspects of the game we can cater to that as well

The best coach I ever had was my freshmen head coach Mr. Slagel. Apart from being a coach of baseball he also taught History class. The way he taught in the classroom setting was very similar to on the field, in fact our first week of baseball was held in a classroom and on the board he wrote "Baseball 101". He made baseball fun and always allowed his student athletes to stop, question, and discuss all facets of the game. He brought the understanding of the game down to the basic fundamentals which built a great foundation for any athlete to build from myself included.

To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
