Athletic Background
Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I was a starting guard for team USA in the Maccabiah Games, and I won 2 gold medals. I started playing AAU as a third grader on a fifth grade team. I played all three 3 years of middle school and four years of high school.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
Lorenzo Williams was the best coach I ever had. He shared his knowledge and trained me like a professional player. He has NBA experience, and taught me about hard-work, competition, team play, and much more.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
Basketball has been my biggest passion my life, and I am very dedicated to the game. I am very friendly and professional. If the athletes or parents have a question, they can feel free to reach out to me voicing their concerns during a training session. I am patient, and want nothing the best for the athletes to grow not just as a player, but as a person.
Coaching Background
Summary of Coaching Background
I was an assistant coach for a recreational basketball league in Coral Springs, and we won the championship. I have personally trained a few teenagers trying to elevate their game. I am also a certified personal trainer, and have trained clients in the gym.
How can you help someone improve their game?
I am an excellent shooter, and I will give pointers on how to improve their form. I will help the athletes become better dribblers by doing drills such as 2 ball dribbling. As a guard and being one of the smaller players on the court, I learned how to hold my own in the paint, and I will help each athlete in the post, and how to use their body to their strength. I will help with conditioning so that during a real game, they do not get tired, and fatigue will not get in their way.
What does a typical training session look like?
To begin every training session, there will be stretching and warm-up drills. After that depending on the type of session, I will run some shooting, dribbling, passing, or defending drill. There will be a small load of conditioning, and when the athlete is tired there will be small rest breaks.
