Athletic Background

Summary of Career and Accomplishments
Multi-sport athlete at the high school level. Pursued a career in sports performance and physical therapy. Continue to participate in recreational competition and maintain an active life style.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
My high school baseball coach. He was firm, but consistent. He taught me to work hard and compete no matter the situation.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
Although I wasn’t provided the opportunity to play at the next level I am very knowledgeable about the game of baseball with expertise in hitting and fielding. My football experience is coaching high school wide receivers and defensive backs. Additionally I am a performance specialist with a degree in Physical Therapy so I also have a strong understanding of movement, proper warm-up and injury prevention.

Coaching Background

Summary of Coaching Background
I have almost 20 years of coaching experience ranging from pee-wee football and Little League/travel baseball to high school football and baseball. I feel I am well respected by parents, coaches and athletes with my upbeat and encouraging approach. These attributes have lead me to coach of the year awards and multiple championships.
How can you help someone improve their game?
I can help a player improve their game by building rapport and establishing trust. From there we collaborate on goals and I instill confidence in the athletes ability through proven systems and drills.
What does a typical training session look like?
A typical training session consists of a dynamic warm up followed by drills that build on one another. I include an element of strength, speed and agility into training to prepare athletes for their sport.
