Why Train With Me?

You get out, what you put in!! And I’m here to make sure all athletes leave each session feeling empowered by giving each session their all. I am a highly motivated individual, with elite level experience in athletics. I played 5 years of collegiate volleyball and also have experience with strength and conditioning as an athlete myself. After graduation I decided it was not time to stop training and coaching, but more like time to start giving back. I want all my athletes to leave our training sessions with a stronger sense of self, more grit, and confidence. I will be here to guide and support each athlete to bring out the best in themselves each day. Training can be translated to not only success in sports, but success in an individuals overall, mental, physical health, and well being. Let’s have some fun and watch you thrive!!

Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
Coach Roland Tolbert, was the best coach (aside from my dad) who I ever had. This coach had no expectation of me, except to give it my all, and to come out on top. We would do extra training sessions, and coach Tolbert helped me to expand my mind and to defeat mental limitations at a young age. To this day I have used the mental toughness techniques in other life scenarios. He showed me the hunger it takes to win, and helped reveal the true greatness I carried inside all along.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
Open door policy! I know I can come off intense during training sessions, but that is the role I am willing to play, to help individuals succeed. Your child being a great athlete isn’t my only focus. I want athletes to walk away feeling fulfilled and like they have direction. Each athlete needs their own way of support and I’m here to use my experience, to give all athletes the best guidance possible.
