The platform was created by Gene &amp; Elaine Williams \u2013 a married couple who both played college sports. Once their playing days ended, they started private coaching to stay involved with the game &amp; earn extra income \u2013 and they loved it! Realizing there wasn\u2019t a go-to platform meant to help private coaches scale their business \u2013 like Airbnb does with rentals, or Rover for dog walkers \u2013 Gene &amp; Elaine decided to build AU.
