There are obviously healthy habits and unhealthy habits. Both are easy to get wrapped into once you start a habit and feel that sense of security. It is so important to focus on healthy habits and try to get rid of unhealthy habits. Here are three <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.temp.athletesuntapped.com\/teaching-healthy-habits-to-young-athletes\/\">healthy habits<\/a> to lead athletes to success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Never Get Comfortable<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You should never be comfortable with where you are; you should always be pushing for more. Getting comfortable and not striving for improvement will not lead you to athletic success. You should always be asking yourself, \u201cWhat can I do better now?\u201d There is always room for progress, no matter what.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Stay Positive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As hard as it is, staying positive can make a huge difference in an athlete&#8217;s overall performance. It can be hard to not get in your head and think negatively, but trying to change your mindset can really help out with everything in the long run. Once you have a healthy positive mindset, those negative thoughts won\u2019t come as often as they used to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Don\u2019t Forget Who You Are<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes it is easy to get lost in your sport and focus on it so much that you lose yourself. It is so important to make sure to balance your personal life and your sport so that you can keep an even balance between the two. Sometimes getting too lost in your sport can cause burnout, so it is very important to avoid this from happening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Putting Everything Together<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Adopting these three habits\u2014never getting comfortable, staying positive, and not forgetting who you are\u2014can help athletes achieve success and maintain a healthy balance in their lives.
